Jessica Alba is the most recent Hollywood star to be seen wearing Anoname jeans (2/19/10 outside Urth Café in Beverly Hills). The denim line that launched five years ago is known for unique, novelty worn-in washes and universally flattering fits that include the “Paris” skinny, the “Chrissy” straight leg and the “Joelle” bootcut.The line has very recently become a Hollywood favorite, with both Rihanna and Fergie wearing the jeans right before the Grammy Awards in early February, and Jessica Szohr, Kate Beckinsale, Jennie Garth, Karina Smirnoff, Tori Spelling and Jennifer Love Hewitt (who demands that “Ghost Whisperer” wardrobe have the jeans on-hand because they’re so flattering on her) all being photographed in them in the past six months. Carrie Underwood, Vanessa Williams, Julia Louis Dreyfus and Ana Ortiz have also expressed their love for the fit and look of Anoname.
"Carrie really loves the (Anoname) jeans…she wore them to a writing appointment last week and raved that the denim did not lose its shape the whole day. That is rare. The washes you sent were wonderful," said Carrie Underwood's stylist Trish Townsend.
The most shocking? Anoname jeans retail for $110, a low price to pay to achieve celebrity style nowadays.
