Famous: Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper Speak Out For a Good Cause

Music superstar Lady Gaga and singing legend Cyndi Lauper are showing their support for HIV/AIDS research as M·A·C VIVA GLAM spokespersons and "The Insider" was in New York City with the ladies this morning getting the 411 on From Our Lips, the new M·A·C VIVA GLAM campaign.

"I'm so honored to be a part of this campaign and even more honored it's with Cyndi," Lady Gaga tells "The Insider." "We want this to be a reminder of not only of practicing safe sex but to promote women to be strong and be confident."

Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper are using their star power to inspire everyone to contribute to the cause by purchasing the VIVA GLAM lipstick that bears their signature. All of the proceeds will go towards the M·A·C AIDS Fund which has already raised more than $150 Million to combat HIV/AIDS.

The M·A·C AIDS Fund also announced $2.5 million in new donations to fund model programs that address the vulnerabilities and inequities that place women at increased risk for HIV/AIDS.
